Western MA Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil

Join us Saturday, November 20th, to celebrate trans joy and resilience, increase awareness of gender oppression and transphobia, and light a candle for those of us who were unalived by violence and hate.
When: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (EST)
Where: Sojourner Truth Memorial, 121 Pine St, Florence.
Accessibility Info: Wheelchair accessible. All genders’ bathrooms are wheelchair accessible via a ramp.
Vigil – bring signs/flags/resist
Here to Thrive – Open Mic – share a poem/written piece/song/your manifesto
Crafts – candle making and space to write and prepare for open mic
Snacks and Hydration
1:00 – 2:00 – Lunch break, bring your own.
When: 2:00 – 4:00 PM (EST)
Where: Transhealth (due to safety reasons, please not post the address online in any way. You will be directed at the vigil site)
