The Trans Youth Summit (TYS) is a free daylong community conference organized by trans youth, for trans youth, sponsored by MTPC, BAGLY, and Greater Boston PFLAG. The TYS aims to build community, combat oppression, and provide education and resources to those who need them. This gathering of 200+ youth includes interactive workshops, identity based groups, panels, lunch and access to gender affirming wear. The event is open to all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive people 24 years old or younger. In addition to the youth segment, MTPC and GBPFLAG offer separate programming for parents, guardians, and caregivers in order to provide support, information, resources, and networking.
