MTPC is centering its efforts on intersectional and multigenerational trans leadership, trans power, and working toward lived equity.
After successfully defending trans rights in public accommodations at the November ballot in 2018, MTPC is creating a Leadership Development program to strengthen the pipeline of trans leadership and build trans power. This report represents the findings of the Working for Lived Equity (W4LE) community needs assessment conducted by MTPC and based on responses from 339 individual survey participants between December 2019 – March 2020. It serves as a follow up of a 2009 community needs survey, which guided MTPC’s programming.
