Transgender Day of Remembrance 2006, MassachusettsBoston's TDOR Observance
This year's TDOR event in Boston once again presented a heartfelt tribute to the losses and solidarity of our community. Attendance met or surpassed previous years, Charito Suarez presided over the event with dignity and grace, and many voices were heard. Participants at the event gave generously to a new project of MTPC, the Transgender Victims in the Garden of Peace. This effort will add transgender victims to the stones representing murder victims in the Boston area in Boston's new Garden of Peace. Read more about this in our PDF flyer.
