Join with us as we speak with our legislators about "An Act Relative to Gender-Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes." They need to meet us and hear about the experiences that transgender people, family, friends, and allies face in the absence of statewide laws affirming the right to freedom of gender identity and gender expression.
To kick off the lobby day at 10 am there will be a panel of speakers including policy makers, transgender people, and family members; light refreshments; and a short lobbying training. All the necessary materials and handouts will be provided.
Please make an appointment with your legislators to meet with them on this day.
