A Community Experience:Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition invites parents, family, and friends to our community meetings for networking, support, and education. These events are an opportunity for family and friends to come together in a supportive environment and learn about how family advocacy can advance the Transgender Civil Rights Bill, "An Act Relative to Gender-Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes", currently pending in Massachusetts. The community meeting will include a session on how to educate legislators on the issues that affect your family, because of discrimination against transgender people. These events are open to all family members and friends of transgender people interested in creating a safe and respectful society.
