Rita Hester
Rita died of multiple stab wounds on November 28, 1998, in Allston. She was found in her apartment by neighbors; her killer has not been found.

Georgette Hart
Georgette was murdered around 1980 in Charlestown.
She was born in Charleston, and was known as "Boston's most beautiful drag queen." She was murdered after leaving a bar in Charlestown. Her throat was slashed, her penis cut off & stuffed in her mouth, and she was driven over with a car.

DenisePugliese

Denise Pugliesi
Denise was beaten to death on January 1, 1979 in Brighton. Her body was found there in a park. Cause of death was ruled as blunt trauma.


Diane Carter
Diane was shot to death on September 16, 1986 in Boston. She was shot in the buttocks.
 
 

MoniqueRogers

Monique Rogers
Monique drowned on August 3, 1986 in Boston. She was pulled out of Boston Harbor during a series of gay- and trans-bashing incidents in the city.

It is likely that this is the case referred on some other websites as "Mary S."

Chanelle

Chanelle Pickett
Chanelle was strangled to death on November 20, 1995 in Watertown. William Palmer admitted to beating her, leaving her face badly bruised and bloody, after taking her home with him to his apartment. Despite testimony by the medical examiner that she was strangled to death, an all-white jury convicted Palmer only of assault and battery. He was freed after serving a 2-year jail sentence.

DebraForte

Debra Forte
Debra was stabbed to death by Michael Thompson on May 15, 1995 in Haverhill. She suffered multiple six-inch stab wounds to the chest, any of which would have been sufficient to kill her. She was also beaten about the head and shoulders. Thompson pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder, and received a life sentence with parole in 15 years.


Monique Thomas (aka Rufus P. Thomas)
Monique was murdered on September 11, 1998 in Dorchester. Her body was not discovered for a week. George Stallings, caught using Thomas's car and credit cars, has pinned the murder on "some men" who, he said, had discovered that Thomas was biologically male. Stallings has been charged with first-degree murder.

Lisa Daniels
Lisa was shot to death on September 17, 2005. She was found dead near a local Stop n Shop. Although she was shot 17 times below the waist, the police refused to consider it a hate crime. Lisa was 42 years old.
