 State Representative Robert A. DeLeo (D-Winthrop), representing 19th Suffolk District since 1991, has been a consistent advocate for, and defender of, transgender rights, from his 2009 co-sponsorship to his hard work in accomplishing passage of the Transgender Equal Right Bill in 2011. MTPC is proud to present House Speaker DeLeo with our 2012 Transgender Ally Award.
