Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell (RCSGL) invites Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Advocates to share their creative forms of healing.*
*We welcome all to submit original works for display in any medium: essay, poetry, music, painting, drama, etc.
All work will be kept anonymous unless otherwise specified by the artist. Consent forms will be given with details.

Dear Artist,
We want to thank you for your interest in submitting a piece for the “Through the Eyes of Survivors” art exhibit being presented by Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell at the Ayer Loft on Middle Street in Lowell, Massachusetts during the month of April 2010.
We are accepting pieces from many mediums, but space is limited we ask the pieces not have a height of more than 8’, nor weigh more than 50lbs, nor be wider than 2.5’. Please fill-out the form below. All pieces for consideration should be delivered to Rape Crisis Services at 144 Merrimack Street, Suite 304 by March 26th 2010. We will strive to display all pieces, but space is limited and some pieces may be rotated through the exhibit weekly.
If your piece does not have a clear top/bottom please place a red arrow on the back pointing toward the top of the piece.
We are looking for a variety of works and themes; we do have the capability to play video and audio pieces. Performance pieces are welcome, to submit a performance piece or reading please submit a brief description of your piece as well as a transcription of any spoken words.
All works will carry a tag that will have a number that corresponds to your contact information; this tag will be affixed to the back or bottom of pieces.
Pieces that are vulgar or contain personal names/phone numbers or are defamatory in nature may not be displayed, as to the discretion of Rape Crisis Services Staff.
If you are planning on selling your piece, you may place a price on your piece, but all sales will be facilitated by the artist and RCSGL is not responsible, nor will be party this transaction. Rape Crisis Services would ask that you consider donating a portion of your art sales from the event to the agency to provide further services to survivors of sexual violence and those affected by sexual violence.
After the show, all pieces must be picked-up from Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell at 144 Merrimack Street, Suite 304 by May 14th 2010, or the pieces become the property of Rape Crisis Services of greater Lowell

I agree to the terms of this letter, and willingly submit my artwork for inclusion in the Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell’s art exhibit titled, “Through the Eyes of Survivors” that will take place during the month of April 2010 at Ayers Loft in Lowell, Massachusetts. By signing below I herby release Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell from responsibility for any damage suffered by my piece that results from its transport or display in the show. I agree to pick-up my piece by May 14th, 2010 or to make alternative arrangements, and I understand that if I do not retrieve my piece by May 14th that it becomes the property of Rape Crisis Services of Greater Lowell.
