The Lawyers For Transgender Rights fundraiser was held at the Estate, 1 Boylston Place, Boston in April 2012.
This fundraiser allows supporters to enjoy for a cocktail party and donate to a worthy cause at the same time. Lawyers for Transgender Rights brings together lawyers, law students, law firms, legal organizations, bar associations, and law schools to network and to support MTPC’s important work on behalf of the transgender community. State Representative Robert A. DeLeo (D-Winthrop), representing 19th Suffolk District since 1991, has been a consistent advocate for, and defender of, transgender rights, from his 2009 co-sponsorship to his hard work in accomplishing passage of the Transgender Equal Right Bill in 2011.
