A big thanks to all who came to our letter writing party today!
Letters are a great way to contact your reps and encourage them to
support the proposed bill, “an act relative to gender-based
discrimination and hate crimes”.
If you missed the party, it’s not too late to help out. You can write
your reps or call or even email them to either encourage them to
support the bill or maybe to thank them for co-sponsoring the bill.
First, find out who your reps are. A great resource is:
http://www.wheredoivotema.com . Once you know who they are and their
contact info, check to see if they’ve co-sponsored the bill. An
updated list of sponsors is available at:
http://www.masstpc.org/legislation/sponsors.shtml
If your rep or senator has co-sponsored the bill please take the time
to mail, call, or email them a thank you message! If they didn’t co-
sponsor, please write, call, or email them encouraging them to
support this piece of legislation.

Letter Writing Party!
Hey folks,
The Worcester chapter is hosting a letter writing party this month! We’ll be grabbing some pizza and snacks and reaching out to our state reps while having fun!
You don’t have to identify as trans or be out to participate in this event. We welcome and encourage all people who are interested in human rights to join us.

Hi! Thanks for your interest in the Worcester Chapter of MTPC!
We’ve been working on a bunch of cool stuff since our creation last year, including: community forums, human rights protections for transpeople in Worcester, and reaching out to our local politicians and state reps.
You don’t have to identify as trans or even be out to be a part of our chapter and we have different opportunities for involvement. Please consider joining us!
