MTPC SouthCoast Chapter Kickoff
We had our kickoff on Friday. It was attended by a number of our gay allies, including some of the contestants for the first Miss SouthCoast Equality pageant. It was a small gathering, but there appears to be growing support in the local community. Meeting dates are yet to be set. I will announce the time and day here once they are firm.
SouthCoast MTPC kick off
We have finally arranged a place and time for the SouthCoast Chapter’s kick off. It will be Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at 1285 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, MA, right next door to the Home of Hope. Parking available next to the Rite Aid a short distance South of the location, or on the street. This is a community wide event celebrating the foundation of the SouthCoast Chapter of MTPC. I have asked the participants of the Miss Gay SouthCoast Pride pageant to attend as well as members of the SouthCoast Equality steering committee and planners of SCE Pride 2009. All are welcome. I hope to see everyone there.
