We’re also known as the North Shore Transgender Alliance, because we like the acronym (pronounced “N-stah”). We meet irregularly, but we work hard and make our time and effort count by undertaking manageable projects that make a difference. We helped develop some of the language used in the campaign to pass Transgender Civil Rights legislation, and we conducted two community meetings to get the word out about this important bill at the State House. In 2009, we’ll undertake more of the same. Give us a try, you just might find yourself having fun!
