Membership & Meetings

General Membership

General Membership ("members") is open to all full and part-time Massachusetts residents, including students. Members will receive information about the organization and its activities, and are encouraged to attend meetings, provide input to proposals, participate in activities, and donate to the organization. To become a member, please fill out a brief, confidential membership form.

Meetings

Boston: Steering Committee

You do not have to be a member to come to a Steering Committee meeting. Steering Committee Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month at 6:00pm at 14 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02108, 1st floor conference room. Call 617-778-0519 for directions. Non-members may speak at meetings, but only members may vote. If a particularly sensitive issue is being discussed, the SC may go into closed session, during which members will be asked to leave the room until the closed session is concluded.

Town Hall Meetings

Open community "Town Hall" meetings are held at least annually in Boston. In November of 2005 and 2006, MTPC held town hall meetings in the afternoon, before the evening's TG Day of Remembrance observance. The events were well attended and judged a success by MTPC members.
