Committees

Committees are one of the primary ways we - MTPC Steering Committee, members and volunteers - do our activism. Each committee addresses a specific topic or area. Committee membership is open to all. Please email us at if you are interested in participating on a committee.

Policy

Chaired by Emilia and Rachel F. Develops transgender-inclusive policies for state agencies and other organizations. Click here to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved.

Outreach

Chaired by Rachel, primarily responsible for MTPC representation at events and meetings. Youth (sub)committee chaired by Jesse, People Of Color (sub)committee chaired by Raffi.

Training

Chaired by Mycroft, with Daniel. Educates agencies, organizations, businesses and others about transgender people. Creates training materials, teaches MTPC members to become trainers, and selects trainers to fulfill requests.

Fundraising

Chaired by Dale, with Liz (LTR event) and Barusch (Major Donors). Helps develop the funding needed for MTPC's operations.

Transgender Resource Network

Chaired by Barusch and Theadora, with Jesse. Developing a catalogue of resources for dealing with trans-related issues.

Executive

Chaired by Nancy, Vice-Chair Rachel, Treasurer Grace, Clerk Jesse. Responsible for director and staff reviews, as well as overall organization functioning.
