MTPC, GLAD & MassEquality Release “Everyone Matters” Video
This 10-minute video, titled “Everyone Matters: Dignity and Safety for Transgender People” was created in support of the pending Massachusetts legislation “An Act Relative to Gender-Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes,” and addresses employment and hate crimes issues for transgender persons. It is intended to support advocacy at state and federal level. It was funded by MassEquality, GLAD, and MTPC, and produced by GLAD with the help of MTPC.

Western Mass MTPC Community Forum/Chapter Community Meeting for Trans Rights Legislation in 2009!
Please join MTPC members to learn about our work, the re-start of the Western Mass Chapter, network with other activists and organizations, and learn about the upcoming legislation for non-discrimination and hate crimes on the basis of gender identity and gender expression. There will be light refreshments and ample time for networking and socializing.
In this meeting we will:
1. Update what happened with the last year’s legislation
2. Outline plans for 2009 strategy
3. Solicit feedback, suggestions, and support for moving forward.
